I was looking for a place in the middle of nowhere. It was just that. You do need a car or a bike to get food. There a massive supermarket 8 minute drive. It was super hot during our stay and the pool was a perfect escape. Next door golf club has a practice field and actual massive course. We are not golfers but it was super cheap to rent balls and clubs to try it. The place has BBQ, tennis tables.

Beautiful site with comfortable, fully equipped small houses. Quiet, calm, very clean. Just before Easter the whole house was freshly painted. In the kitchen you had everything! You do not need to take anything except a teatowel and a tablecloth. Extremely clean bathroom. Very clean and quiet. Warm with the electric heaters. Fantastic value!

The fact the the hostel is pedestrian only make it calm and enjoyable. The location is perfect to visit Saumure and the different muséums and 1h away from Anger and Terra Botanica. The people there are more than happy to help you and dedicated so you can enjoy your stay If asked, they provide a bed for babies, but bring your matress and the baby seat (too bad that they don't provide it actually, maybe this can be improve). Overall the stay was great and I strongly recommend it for its peacefulness, privacy of the rooms and the surrounding nature!

Friendly staff, you can use the indoor pool! Very clean. Trolleys to bring your luggage to the house as cars are only allowed inside the domaine for certain circumstances. The rooms are bare but clean and the kitchen is well kitted out. Toaster, Microwave, kettle, TV. I think there was a conventional coffee machine as well. Heating works, it was a rainy day, so the heating made it comfy. Bedding is sealed up, so you know it's clean and you have to make your own bed. Not sure how quiet it is during the busy season, I was there in October and it was very tranquil. Good value for money. Good for a longer stay also.

The accommodation is on two floors, with the toilet & bathroom on the ground floor. The outside patio seating area is private. Everywhere inside is spotlessly clean. It's a 5 minute drive into town to get to the supermarket. The most important advice is to be sure you visit the caves & wine tasting on offer in the local village.

Really close to Saumur town centre, Rural location, quiet and peaceful. All the basics needed and large fridge and freezer for longer stays. Staff were super friendly. Swimming Pool a real bonus.

Lovely quiet location, although at the time admittedly it wasn't peak season there is a good policy for guests to make no noise after 11pm. A cuckoo was even heard on one of the mornings
